Wondered if anyone was using arnica cream/tablets for their bruising? I’m on the usual raft of medication following HA in May and also asthmatic. Am bruising like a peach mostly without any sensation. Have particular problem with chest, back of calves and backs of hands. Have used in the past but that was prior to my HA. Any thoughts would be welcome.

My wife had a massive bruise on her upper arm that she casually mentioned to the doctor. He said it would take six weeks to clear. Arnica cream and tablets and it was gone within the week.
We used to go to a homeopathic pharmacy in Edinburgh. The cashier said that she had dropped the till on her foot. and a massive bruise came up. The owner gave her arnica tablets and smothered her foot in the cream and it was soon gone.
I don't bother using anything, if I did, I would be constantly attending to my body. A slight touch and I am bruised, especially arms and legs, now it's winter I can keep covered up.
I use arnicare for almost all bruises, bashes, aches, strains and pains. It works quickly and well for me. My wife has tried it but but does not get anything like the benefits that I do.
I find arnica cream/gel works best if used on a bruise as soon as possible. Only problem is, as others have said, you often aren't aware of touching anything let alone hitting yourself hard! I think the instruction leaflet says it shouldn't be used on an open wound so best avoided if you have grazed yourself along with a bruise.
Just a warning. I looked it up when someone asked the same question on a completely different forum and the tablets are best not used as: "(although)There are no significant drug interactions when using topical forms of arnica, arnica (tablets) MAY increase the effect of anticoagulants and other drugs that increase the risk of bleeding when taken orally". Evidently the plant itself is toxic, although the homeopathic tablets contain a really really tiny amount!
