For anyone struggling - it gets better.

Tonight i played football - wearing my new wrist / pulse monitor. Was shocked to see that I was running a 184 pulse ......without feeling overly exerted. My resting pulse is around 62. I’m 48 years old with 2 stents into a completely blocked LAD.

I was struggling to walk any distance back in Jan - a good month post stent. In March / April - I was moving, but convinced I still had some Angina. Now I’m exercising harder with no pain at all.

Have at Echo stress test later this month (I had a 30% narrowing of a remaining artery). Now looking forward to it.

I’m sat a bit stunned with it all.

I have had 2 recent stress tests, one before my stents in July for 90% LAD & 80% LCX and one 4 weeks following as I had recurrent burning chest pain. Both times they took my pulse up to 180. I am 62 with a resting HR of 50. This would be 100% of my maximum. If you can do this without a problem it sounds like you are doing well.
