hi all. well off to start rehab tomorrow morning for the fifth time. hopefully i’ll complete it this time and be released into the community. funnily enough i’m really apprehensive about it. hope i manage to stay conscious this time 🤣

my history is blood pressure crashing and me with it. get barred for a while. there always seems to be something happens before graduation day and i have to start again. i’m finishing this time for sure❤️

I've just finished my 1st week of rehab number 2 - originally finished in June, but ICD fitted in August so back for another round of the gym.

I never completed mine....I was sent to a physiotherapist instead.

Still keep in touch with the Head Cardiac rehab nurse she is just a superb nurse.

Staying conscious is always desirable!!! Hope all goes well for tomorrow. Took Kevin bout 5/6 tries to get through it, he kept getting carted off to hospital.

ha ha. i’m starting to think your kevin and me live in parallel universes. i’m a bit more disciplined than him though. i just get wheeled through to a&e as our rehab is in local hospital ❤️

Ha ha, the re-hab was also in the hospital although he didn't get wheeled in. When his angina started during one session they suggested he "pop" into A&E! 😂 Anyway, you will be fine, enjoy it

I didn't finish my rehab due to me having a crackly chest and was sent home each week. I'm having an Ablation soon and was promised rehab afterwards. But this time it's held at the local Hospice which is a bit unnerving .😟ha ha.

Hope all goes well and you stay upright!!!

Hubby was banned from rehab after having his BP taken. White coat syndrome and all that. Our doctor even wrote a letter (just like school!) saying his BP was perfect, but the rehab team wouldn't take the risk!

Aftercare, I am quite envious, but don't reside in the UK.

Nothing in Portugal and then...

I got my first appointment with my cardiologist in Thailand, I was in and out with a few minutes, a stethoscope on the heart, a pulse check....not dead.... ok job done.

yeah we take our nhs for granted here. sounds like poor treatment from a cardiologist though. keep the faith❤️
