Hi all I just need a bit of advice. I went to doctors February time due to palpitations, and beginning of May I wore a heart monitor for 48 hrs which picked up broad complex tachycardia. I didn't receive the letter while August that I needed to go on 1x bisoprolol 1.25mg morning and 1 at night. Since then I recently had a bunion removed under general anesthetic a week later ended up having AFIB attack so now I take 2. 1.25mg in the morning I am still feeling so poorly. Before medication I was walking a good 10000 steps +. Has anyone else had this experience with beta blockers or am I just over thinking, any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you for the reply went to see GP yesterday I now take 2. 5mg in morning and the same on a night so hopefully everything will calm down. Take care xx
I know exactly what you mean. I started with palpatations in May. Normally fit and well. Been under cardiologist since July. Prescribed Bisoprolol and not sure wether it's the medication, or the heart issues, but after 20 minutes of standing or walking I'm collapsed on the floor. GP says "wait for cardiologist plan", but that's like waiting for hen's teeth or finding unicorn pooh. In the meantime I'm off work as 'untenable' for past 4months. Good luck Patty, fingers crossed we both get sorted out quite soon.
It knocks you back dosent it. I know there is going to have to be a lot of changes at work etc... My health is more important. I do find this site really helpful as hopefully you do. Thank you for the reply and let's hope we both feel better soon. Take care x
