My mother who takes Bisoprolol for AF has taken co codamol for the last 24hrs and randomly fainted today.
I was called to her community centre as was an ambulance. She is ok and the cause was put down to low BP poss brought on my stress (we have had a family bereavement recently). However I find myself wondering if the pain relief may have interacted with the heart med & caused BP to go too low. Any thoughts very welcome.

Bisoprolol makes the heart beat slower I would get the doctor/cardiologist to check that your mum's heart is not beating too slowly. I kept fainting and it was because my heart was beating too slowly. Worth checking
I have been taking co-codamol and it has no real effect on the bisoprolol. Occasionally the bisprolol will lower the heart rate significantly for a short period and going from sitting to standing can cause you to feel light headed and faint.
