I was referred back to cardiology last week by my GP. Apparently I was due to undergo a treadmill test. Explained to the cardiologist there about LBBB and she asked if I had any chest pain and only if I had chest pain they would consider carrying this test out. I did have an ECG carried out whilst there and again it stated LBBB. She explained it is the electrical current of my heart but mine was much slower than others but eventually it does catch up. My husband always did make a joke of me being a bit slower than others.

Hi Michdev. I do wonder about our medics sometimes. Surely if you've got chest pain, the last thing they'd do is put you on a treadmill.
I'm glad I'm not an expert, lol.
You carry on being a tortoise; we can't all be hares!
Thanks Alison. Also I only received the letter about the app. on the day I attended. Just as well I wasn't on any medication at the time because I would have had to stop it at least 24 hours beforehand. She told me if the consultant at the time had of explained what LBBB was it could have been sorted there and then but that if I experience any chest pain to ask to be referred back. Also recall speaking to a GP before about crushing chest pain a few years ago and was advised if I experienced a tingling in my hand only then to go to A & E. I left the room after this feeling somewhat bewildered. Hope you are keeping well yourself x
I'm currently waiting for more stents, having had a HA and 1 stent last year. I saw my cardiologist 3 months ago, and he said he was doing an "urgent referral" for the stents. Needless to say I haven't heard a thing! (And don't want to remind anyone, as I feel fine and really don't want another angioplasty!)
