Aching Heart

I had my HA in March and have made slow but steady progress since. Every now and then I get an aching sensation round the heart area. Not painful and to be honest I'm not too worried about it but just wondering whether it's normal? Thanks

Hi Allan. I had a few twinges after my HA and stent for quite a while. They stopped after a while. Did you have a stent or other procedure after yours?

I was told the heart doesn’t like being pulled around and the low level ache felt a bit like on going bruising for a while. I think it was pretty settled after 6 months though. The benefit of having a heart attack was I knew what one of those felt like! I die still get the odd sensation though.

That is so true. When i woke at 02.15 I thought it was indigestion as (probably been watching too many tv episodes or films) I thought a great attack meant you had a shooting pain down your arm and excruciating pain. No, mine started as an ache on the chest that got heavier and heavier. You learn something new every day 😁.
