hi had stent in may ...generally feeling ok .. had pain in calf last night woke me up ...any ideas ..has anybody had this experience ? or am I being paranoid?

Muscle cramps is a potential side effect of statins.

The time to worry is if the pain is continuous as it could indicate a DVT or if you get cramp walking as it could be a sign of PAD (peripheral arterial disease) that can occur pre/post CVD!

If frequent then have a chat with your GP. Hopefully just one of those things.
