Hope this isn't a stupid question. Hubby has hf and af and tries to sleep on 3 pillows but can't sleep on his back. Is there any difference between sleeping on right or left side with his conditions? Thanks 😊

Which side?
There are no stupid questions on here! But I’m afraid I don’t have a clear answer for you, I’ve found I just had to trial and error, and discovered I was much comfier on my right side.
I’m just about to try one of the big v-shaped pillows, to get me into just the right position.
My husband has HF and he sleeps with 2 firm pillows and during the night he alternates between his back, left and right side. Sleeping on your back can be uncomfortable, have never really thought bout the best side to sleep on? Does he use 3 pillows to help with his breathing during the night? Maybe ask his medical team for advice. And I second Kristin1812, there are no stupid questions, you're looking for support and advice.
I have a foam wedge about 8" at the thick end, it is so much better than pillows for me.
Sounds a good idea. Amazon?
No, ebay, memory foam so not the cheapest! ebay.co.uk/itm/302512917447
I start on my left with 3 pillows then at some point go on my right with 2 pillows but sometimes have to go back to 3. Like most say it's trial and error but I find my breathing easier on my right side as it feels like less pressure on my chest area.
I am on 4 pillows. I would say trial and error. I have never been able to sleep on my back though or my stomach.
