Update from Anxious 2

Have not had results from Echocardiogram yet and will be having the stress test on Friday the 13th Sept( oops).

2weeks ago started the lowest dose of

Bisoprolol which I have stopped this morning , once again couldnt walk or talk or function because of severe breathlessness.

This has happened with all the Bp meds I have tried Rampiril, losartan, lercandipidine, atenolol, bisoprolol and one I cant remember, the lecandipidine put me in A&E and I was heading that way yesterday again.

I have been breathless since the middle of June since they wanted me to take BP meds iwhich gets terribly worse the more I take prior to that I felt fine I now feel like just taking my chances with a heart attack or stroke I cant tolerate Drugs it seems and I still dont now if I have a heart problem or not

Sorry to hear that MrsP70. I’m afraid I have the same problem with breathlessness with the meds. I don’t know which one it is but hope it is the meds and not the heart. I had a heart attack in February so would advise not to risk it. I’m due for another echo on Friday 13th but don’t expect anything bad. I think it’s been the hot weather causing most of the problems. When seeing GP with the results I’ll ask about the meds and breathlessness then. Hope everything goes OK for you.
