Had an angiogram through right wrist 5 days ago. I've now got a lump on my wrist at the insertion site, doesn't hurt. Is this normal and, if so, how long will it take to go away? Thanks

hi ecki. i had an angio through the wrist bout 4 weeks ago and i still have slight lump at sight. if i remember correctly i still had mark for bout 6 months after first one. as long as it’s not painful or swelling i would say not to worry but i’m not a doctor. but if it’s worrying you then best get it checked even just for peace of mind. good luck❤️shiona

I had a similar lump. They go. Apply Arnica cream twice a day to help the bruising go.

I had my angio several years ago through my wrist and got a slight lump and the scar is still visible and palpable. However it might be wise to let your GP see it just to be on the safe side.

Hi Ecki. It'll go in time. The bruising might last a while too (but to be honest, that was caused by the extreme pressure applied to stop the bleeding!!!).

All the very best to you. xxxx

Hi Ecki. It is normal and does go in time. Now I just have a tiny little scar.
