Hi probably been asked before, I am taking Statins....great my cholesterol has come down, but well I think it’s the tablets , arms and my legs, feel so heavy , it’s nearly all day, if I get up,out of the car
, I take them at night...could it be the tablets......

Hello and welcome to the forum! Statins can occasionally cause muscle aches but this can often be resolved by a change of statin. I changed from Simvastatin to Atorvastatin and no more problems. Talk to your GP to check that something else is not going on. If it has not been done recently a LFT (liver function blood test) might be appropriate, and maybe FBC (full blood count) and U&Es (urea and electrolytes).
Aw thanks I am on Atorvastain, the others give me the gips, and had a blood test for liver, kidneys, cholesterol thyroid ( which I have had for yrs take tablets) but not the others you mentioned...
