6 days after 3 stents. Still feeling very tired. having odd twinges and aches in chest but I expected that.

My pulse often overs around 39 to 41 bpm, before the op it was around 53-55

My meds haven't altered wondering if the low bpm is causing the tiredness

Hi Boharford, 6 days after op is still very early days and body getting used to huge changes (meds and 3 lumps of metal) going though it will take a few weeks yet I reckon!

I had 2 stents in my RCA after STEMI and was back in A&E a week later feeling terrible!!! Sickly pains lethargic.... got full range of checks which came back as expected. Had a chat with a registrar who said “ your body is getting used to a lot of foreign intrusion and this is a very normal response”

I’m now 5 weeks post HA and still feeling some effects, mostly psychological, but in rehab now and finding it very useful!

Low BP will not help but meds shouldn’t cause it to drop too low and if this is the case a trip to GP and re titration as they call it, needs carrying out!

Good luck and hope you feel better soon

Dave

No probs at all. Not about being patient, as people keep saying to me the feelings your having are completely normal!

I am trying to change my future and forget about my past 👍🏼

Hi DaveyG71, had a stent to RCA 15 days ago post NSTEMI x2 although I am grateful to be here I am terrified! Every twinge I get I think this is it! ! Does this feeling and the twinges improve? I have a GTN spray for Angina pain but not sure if it's angina iam experiencing or just everything settling down from the angioplasty? As it only last a few seconds , Seeing Cardiac Rehab team on Tuesday for the first time. I just can't seem to move past the doom and gloom I feel, and feeling positive for the future is not something I can do at the moment. Am I "normal" with these feelings? Thanks.

Very normal! I have been like this now for 6 weeks, but I have more good than bad days now. I keep reading positive stories on here which gives me hope! Until I sit down with cardiologist in sept I will be constantly worried about my partially blocked LAD! Hoping the meds are keeping that nice and steady though and I am doing all I can to eat healthily and lose some weight it’s all I can do! Oh and keep taking my meds of course 👍🏼

I had a partial blocked LAD diagnosed in 2014 70% - meds have has been the treatment until these stents went in last week
