Oxygen is 100% but i believe its anxiety or some report should have shown abnormal values. When i dont overthink about it i feel better. Hope u feel better too
This is my first post as well. I recognise some of the concerns you have - but in this moment just wanted to ask : does it ease your situation to understand that your anxiety about what is best to do has been ‘heard’ by others. It’s good to feel one is not on one’s own ?
This happened to me when I was anemic and I didn’t know it. My blood was not able to carry enough oxygen to my lungs due to having a low rbc count. The rbc’s carry oxygen throughout the body. So I was always having to take deep breaths in order to try to keep my body oxygenated. (But I didn’t realize why until my doctor tested my blood). Just a thought. I think hemoglobin is involved too on the blood work.
Thanks my hemoglobin is ok around 15 range is 13 to 18 . Im taking proferrin to take it to range of 18 to see if it helps . Thanks again for sharing information
Hm, not qualified to comment on tests or possibilities etc., but can say this-
We should never under estimate the power of anxiety and the very real and distressing symptoms it can manifest in.
My experience some years ago was that I was convinced that my throat was closing and I couldn't swallow or breathe, panic rises quick at that stage... heart pounding, sweat, shaky...
I read about a simple breathing technique that actually enabled me to control the symptoms and eradicate them within a few days, with just the odd relapse for week or two.
Picture your 'happy' place - beach, wooded glade, bluebells, whatever it is, close eyes, breath in deep as poss, hold it for a slow 5 count, release a bit of breath, hold for a 5 slow count, same again etc., taking around 5 stages to completely exhale - all the time mentally digging your toes in the sand on your beach or sniffing the air in the woodland... ya know what I mean.
Honestly works. Keep going for as long as it takes to feel calm and relaxed. Do it anywhere, I used to do it standing in my workshop when needed - 5 minutes, and under control again.
Sounds kinda dumb but it works well if done right, worth a try anyway.
Give it a go. If it doesn't help in any way at all, then maybe anxiety isn't the problem - but I'm guessing it may be.
Have you had your blood pressure and heart rate checked when you are lying sitting and standing. Its worth checking. There are various kinds of autonomic conditions that often get passed off as anxiety, same symptoms, sort of chicken and egg. Some related to the heart like inapropriate sinus tachycardia (IST) but others are more obscure and rarely considered. POTS UK is one site to look at and also Dysautonomia international. X
