I've joined this group as my Dad has some ongoing heart problems, and it's for support and a bit of guidance really
He's 77 and had a pacemaker fitted a couple of years ago - it's been brilliant and I'm eternally grateful for all the clever people who helped make him better. He's a fit man generally and it's given him a new lease of life.
Recently he's been feeling dizzy. He had lots of blood tests and a lung scan and all is well. The doctor therefore referred him to his cardiologist who he is seeing this weekend.
Not sure what the outcome will be - could be that his ventricles aren't working properly (he was told he had mild to moderate problems when he had the pacemaker fitted) or whether it's his medication etc.
Not sure what I'm asking really - just helps to write things down! Thank you for listening. I will keep you updated x

Best wishes to you and your dad for his cardiologist appointment. Here's hoping they can throw some light on his current issue and find a solution so he can regain his good health and enjoy it to the full. X
