I continue to have kidney infections and because of this particular form vitamin c powder I no longer worry about it. I hope this helps. I take a teaspoon at night with couple glasses of water. Bye bye two kidney infections. But I wear an external catheter and that's where the infection started from. Itt has cleared that right up. But I thought I would share my source of vitamin c powder very inexpensive $22 for 2 pound bag.

Sorry to hear your story but it seems more relevant to the Bladder Health rather than the Heart forum.
I do recommend people with CVD take 1000mg SR (slow release) Vitamin C as it reduces inflammation often a precursor to plaque formation (c.f. scurvy in old time sailors). But I also recommend people get the OK from their GP/cardiologist first.
