Hi all new here. For the past 3 days I have had pain in my neck and not sleeping also nausea, last night it became even worse and in my shoulder now too when I move my neck its just a sharp tight pain in neck and shoulder slightly on front of chest and down back. I have tried new pillows also trying heat packs and ice packs and taking paracetamol. Is this a muscle? I cant think of anything ive done to pull it just woke up like it.
Thank you

Suggest you go to the Dr/walk in. You need to have a BP check & then maybe a blood test will show if it’s a heart attack. It may just be muscular/gastric or even stress but it’s best to get it checked out.
I phoned nhs direct to ask best course of action such as prime care or go to a hospital or stay home and see how it goes. they called an ambulance as I have heart problems and wanted me to get checked to be sure nothing dangerous going on. I had a 12 lead and blood pressure check in my home and all ok they did say maybe ectopic pregnancy as can have pain in shoulder for that (its not that), I kept saying muscular maybe they phoned a doctor to check I can take co-codamol the doctor asked for me to go in or wait till Monday to see a doctor I opted for Monday as I've already wasted paramedics time. woken up today with a rash and headache also vomiting so I'm waiting for prime care to call me back to speak me about whether I should wait till tomorrow or go to hospital or go to prime care and see them.
Had a 12 lead and bp checked all over the place as I have hole in heart, leaky heart valve and heart murmur. Nothing to worry about they said i have an appintment on the 28th now. They dont know what the rash is so gave me cream to see how that goes
