Hi Everyone , Just looking for a bit of advice regarding Life Insurance and any companies you have delt with.
I'm 30 years old and was diagnosed with right ventricular arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy in 2014 and had a defibrillator fitted in 2015 after the sudden death of my sister to a cardiac arrests at the age of 29. We have had genetic testing done of the rest of my family and everyone else is completely fine so is my daughter and my niece who is the daughter of my sister who died.
I'm really struggling to gain life insurance and I think i've spoken to 20+ different people filled in multiple forms for each giving all information then when they have access to my medical records they cant insure me.
Has anyone got any good recommendations or had similar issues and if so how did you resolve it ?
Kindest Regards
Faye

Hi Faye, I'm in the same position regarding insurance. I'm 36 and in the process of buying a house. I started completing a form with an insurance provider which stated that there was no need to submit medical records. However, they asked endless questions and it seems that the smallest of conditions (like a UTI) rule you out or hike the premium up to stupid levels. It also seems that if you have been investigated for something in the recent past, this goes against you even if all tests were clear.
Maybe go down another route and get a funeral plan....I just did and didnt need to give my health details.its just like having a savings account....just an idea
Your story touched me to the core. You are well done that you do not give up in such a difficult life situation. I am very sorry for your sister, but it is great that your loved ones are healthy. No one in our life is immune from diseases. I want to advise you of an insurance company that I have worked This is is a very responsible company with qualified staff. On their website you can find reviews and contact a representative of this company who will help you choose the right package on good terms. God bless you. I hope my comment will help you.
