High air pollution forecast

Hi all,

Hope everyone is enjoying the sun! Some of you may have seen the forecast from the Met Office - there's expected to be high levels of air pollution across parts of England and Wales over the next few days.

Air pollution can make heart and circulatory conditions worse so I thought I'd share some of the advice from the BHF on looking after yourself: bhf.org.uk/informationsuppo...

You can find the forecast in your area plus tips and advice on looking after your heart when pollution levels are high.

Hope this is useful!

:)

Thank you Helen.

I got caught out by the Saharan sand pollution a few years ago and ended up in hospital.

Hi Helen, my son has already been really bad with his asthma, at first he thought that it was a cold, then hayfever. He has now conceded that it's his asthma, he doesn't look after himself and he nearly died last year when out of the blue he was bad with undiagnosed asthma and ended up in resus in a&e. We nearly lost him. He did get better with the proper treatment.

My wife used to have asthma, hay fever, allergies, etc. Since we went on a diet for my heart disease that excludes milk products they have all cleared up. See if you can get your son to cut dairy products out of his diet. It's not easy. You have to read all the labels.

Thanks so much for the article. But do not forget that the air has already been polluted for a long time and quite strongly. As a result, a huge number of people die every day. And all because we stopped caring for nature. I believe that if we were worried not only about ourselves, but also about our planet, then many diseases could have been avoided. In addition to the tips presented in this article, I suggest you follow a few more tips regarding nature. What can be done to solve this problem can be found on carbonclick.com/ . They inspire many people to save nature. I hope they inspire you too.
