Hi, I read a lot about the benefits of taking Arginine (L'arginine) to help blood circulation and in particular to reduce Angina. Does anyone have experience in taking this and was it helpful ? Has anyone had it prescribed by their Cardiologist ??
Thanks in advance,
David

Hello and welcome to the forum! I had a number of anti-anginals in the year before my bypass but never came across this one. In all honesty you need to discuss this with your GP/cardiologist as there is probably a risk of an interaction with prescribed medications. Whatever you do don't self diagnose and self treat angina as it is usually an indication of a serious underlying problem!
Hello It is true that L-arginine has a lot of good benefits especially when you have poor blood circulation. I saw this natural product and you might give this a try. wholefamilyproducts.com/sho...
Sorry for my late response, Margaret. Yes, it's available on Amazon but I think it's better on their website (Whole Family Products) because they offer big discounts for first-time customers. Just an opinion.
I often feel that Preventative Cardiology department would be nice.
I look at the current Cardiology dep as a post-disaster rescue team once all the hideous damages had occurred.
Surely it would cost far less to try to "PREVENT" the disease to progress that far. HDs do cost a fortune on NHS.
