Gtn spray side effects

I was having chest pain this morning, when the paramedics came she gave me the gtn spray but before that she gave me an orange flavoured tablet to chew, does anyone know what this was, I didn't get any side effects from the spray and wondered if it was the tablet I took before it

Hi sorry you had problems this morning, hope you are feeling better now. I imagine the little orange pill was a chewable aspirin. I am sure you can check this with your Dr.

As mirador19 stated, I expect it was a chewable 300mg aspirin

gtn spay can actually make you pass out so it is best to use it when sitting then wait a while before doing activities, if after using the gtn spray so many times and the pain doesn't settle down then seek medical advice that goes for anyone else out there.
