I have put this information out just to show what can be seen on an Echocardiogram and to show what they are capable of looking at !! I don't know if mine is Good, Bad or Indifferent, but I think overall it's not to bad lol.

Hope it all helps someone Regards

That's very interesting. Last year I had 2 echo scans which were performed in no more than 15 minutes. The first just started heart performing well EF 55 the second at a different hospital said heart function normal but mild AR. I had a 3rd echo 10 days ago and await the result however the person doing the scan was a good communicator asking me many questions about the last year and how I was feeling and the procedure took about 40 minutes, he seemed to scan wider areas of the chest. So I had written off an echo as being the most basic of procedures but after reading your post it's obvious they can reveal a lot. It's good that you have a lot of positive observations in your echo result. Take care

Wow! Very detailed but sorry, I cannot help, as I don't have a clue what the terms mean! I am still awaiting my Echo results. Have you got an appointment with your doctor or consultant to go through them with you?

Your Mitral Valve goes on Good Excursions? Brighton, Blackpool, tour of London?

Prada47. Are you sure they didn't give you my echo cardiogram result? Or maybe they just have a lot of results sheets they hand out! It's feels rare to read one so similar to ones own but I bet there are lots out there. It feels good in a way because so many heart patients are survivors by nature and as these posts show they try to keep smiling.x

So what is your diagnosis? Did the report say?

I wished I got more info like you .All I got after my last echoe was a letter from the cardiologist stating good lv systolic function, good mitral valve repair result with no significant regurgitation and then goes on to say another echoe should be carried out in 3 years .
