Isn't life too short to live without chocolate? Anyway I thought chocolate was good for the heart because of the magnesium in it ?If its dark chocolate its less sugar as well.

But dark chocolate has more fats! However, this is outweighed by the health benefits when the cocoa content is 70% or over.

That's what my cardiologist told me when he caught me having a sneaky munch when I was in hospital. 70% and over is good for you in small amounts. I am not sure if he was quite right about when you are in hospital chocolate doesn't hurt as long as you share it with your cardiologist!

I am sure he is right as cardiologists are highly trained intelligent individuals. Mine advised me that as I cannot drink much that I should always drink good quality wine. Now that is excellent advice!

I should sign up for this one —it’s one I’d easily keep! Now, if you were to say ‘give up tea/coffee/wine’, now that would be a challenge! Good luck with your ‘task’.

I agree. It would be cheating if I signed up and raised money under false pretences! I can take or leave anything sweet.

You could start a trend! I wonder if there would be an outcry from the fast food industry if there was a burger/fried chicken/kebab/pizza free month!
