How do you feel

I have to drive

With the state of driving styles these days with idiots tail gating , speeding and general bad inconsiderate driving how does it make your body feel ?

I’m curious to know . Since I’ve been taking beta blockers I feel different when I get a little worried or under pressure from silly immature drivers

I take Bisoprolol and am replying from Orlando where I am driving an SUV, drivers here are some of the worse I’ve seen.

I can’t say I find taking the Beta blockers make driving easier or harder.

At home I have been regularly driving between South Wales and Manchester, Durham and Coventry and luckily no issues.

I thought I would ask this question to see how the body copes under pressure . When I first started taking the Bisoprolol I noticed that I was a lot more chilled out on the road , not getting anxious if some nut case was driving erratically . Since I’ve been on it a while now the effects of the medication seem to make me feel really weird if I get anxious .

I think driving is pretty much the same all over the country to be fair . Policing the roads these days isn’t a priority any more neither are mobile cameras .

The laws In this country are too slack . Even the police joke with the criminals ha it’s a joke !

As a retired Police Officer I’ll not comment re your last!! 😉

I did have a bump last year while on Bisoprolol and was actually very calm and it was on the motorway when a fully laden car transporter collided with me so a significant bump. This was prior to my bypass too.

No offence to you Heather The rules are governed by the government . So it’s definitely not aimed at any serving police . Once upon a time the roads were safe and criminals were not tolerated. Only a couple of weeks weeks ago driving my son to college I was in a line of traffic when we were choking on cannabis fumes coming from a driver also in the line of traffic . I couldn’t get rid of the stench in my car . I said to my son If a police officer was to stop this car now they would raid it for drugs .

😱

So why did you not take the number and report it to the police? They cannot be everywhere at one time!

Have you rang 101 ?????

No offence taken, everyone is entitled to an opinion. 🙂

I’ve given up motorway driving as I was getting too stressed. I hadn’t correlated it with my Bisoprolol, but it’s possible I guess.
