Hi
Lots of people have written about this in the past it all depends what dosage your on I’m on the minimum dosage of 1.25 mg once a day and have no symptoms whatsoever but lots of people who are on 2.5mg upwards do suffer the same problem as you talk to your doctor about dosage and if you are on a large daily dosage ask if it can be reduced

Jake, ask for your sodium levels to be checked. Bisoprolol, even at the lowest dose, made me feel very weak and wobbly and blood tests revealed a sudden severe drop in my sodium levels. Such a deficiency in salt levels can lead to cramp such as you are describing. Cramp can also point to a deficiency in Magnesium levels.
This doesn't feel like ordinary cramps, feels like a knife in the back, Pain around my chest, shoulders, sides and down my spine to the lower back... I can't bend down and had huge trouble getting into my mates car coming home from work last night. Even then, he had to push me out.... and getting upstairs and into bed was a nightmare... I couldn't turn round to get my cpap air mask on.... even now, 24 hours after taking the last tablet, I am in pain.... not good at all, I won't be taking that again.
Five days and no 'let up', Daughter took me to A&E Friday as she heard me screaming in pain... 7 hours of tests later, and still none the wiser, except it is not related to the Bisoprolol. I've had it now
