Should I be worried

For 2 months I've had an unexplained ache in my upper left arm. At first it would feel heavy especially when I walked fast etc. A month ago I came home from a night shift and did some heavyish gardening for an hour but my left arm had no strength and I had to compensate in other ways to get the job done.

Then I suddenly felt dizzy so I thought I was tired, went to shower and became extremely nauseous and had to get out and lay on my bed. I slept for 3 hours and woke up feeling better , dizziness and nausea gone. Felt tired and thought it might be a tummy bug.

My arm doesn't feel as heavy now but still aches a month later.

Saw my Dr 2 weeks ago who ignored the dizzy spell and sent me for a shoulder x-ray for possible nerve damage because of my arm aching.

I'm waiting for the result of that but I'm worried it might be a circulation problem and also the dizzy and nausea spell may have been heart related. Is it too late to check that out?

I'm a 51 year old female with low blood pressure normally.

I am not an expert but I’d say there’s enough in your story to support a request to your GP for a referral to your local hospital cardiology unit for a heart check-up, depending on what comes back from the x-ray.
