I had a busy hospital day today! Three clinics including rehab and A&E, No exercise today but will be starting on 'light' rehab in two weeks. Not quite sure how it differs - anyone done it? Will have to put aluminium man on hold!

In case you wondering I was diagnosed with coccygodynia! I slipped and fell the other day, and now walk like Chester in Gunsmoke!

Hi MichaelJH,

What a coincidence

I had a triple CABG in 2000, followed by a Myocardial Infarction in 2009, so have lasted this long and still plodding on. I've been to rehab on a few occasions. It's for people with different abilities. If you need a chat keep in touch. You know where I am👍. Hope you're better soon.

Hi there Michael I do hope you're soon feeling well again.. walking like Chester?...gosh that takes me back to my youth.. can't remember the name of the tv programme though..can you? Although I can still 'see' Chester in my mind's eye.ha.

I'll have to Google your reason for the celebrity walk (Chester).. haven't heard of it before.

Enjoy your light rehab.. whatever that entails.. keep us posted on that.. and take care of yourself Michael.

Sending you hugs 🤗

I know where your coming from with coccyodynia, I did that coming off a slide years ago, very painful.

I would love to know what "Light Rehab" entails. My rehab nurse has simply decided that everything's going to be impossible for me because I have trapped spinal nerves, peripheral neuropathy, herniated discs and fibromyalgia all of which cause severe chronic pain. She just doesn't see past the wheelchair or scooter and simply says "You won't be able to do that". How does she know if I don't get the chance to try? I am mobile, I just can't stay upright for more than a few minutes but I'd give it all a darn good try.

I will let you know when I start the week after next. My list includes PAD (worse on left), arthritic left hip, L4 and L5 prolapsed and since Friday coccygodynia. The last was diagnosed in A&E after I left rehab (no exercise just a chat). Occasionally I get the feeling that it is assumed everybody is fit before HA/surgery/WHO?

Sounds painful. Hospital chairs don't help either. I will be interested to hear how you go. I have no further appointments, just a phone call in a month- a bit useless.
