I posted about the heat a few weeks ago:- healthunlocked.com/bhf/post...

All you can really do is take it easy at the hottest part of the day. Being the UK it will be cold and wet soon enough!

Yes very debilitating! I go out for exercise very early or at night. I learned that if I go out when it’s v hot I get angina, and feel really exhausted for quite a while. Oh, and lots of hydration.

Hello Marie. I think this heat is affecting most people, even those that are completely fit and healthy! However you are only a 2/3 months on from your event so you are bound to be feeling it more. Also I imagine you are taking beta blockers to protect your heart while the SCAD heals and this medication could also have the affect of making you feel tired.

Hope you are doing OK otherwise :)

Hello JoanyB thanks you are absolutely right. Hope all is well with you

Personally I hate heat and would rather have a foot of snow.

I`m an outdoors person and love nothing better than being out with my dogs. I`m lucky that my garden is about 100 feet long so my dogs come and go as they please.

Sorry to hear about your struggles. I suggest ice in water jugs and if you can afford or borrow a new Dyson Fan. They are really great.

Nightmare. I wear a collar of ice/cold water round my neck. Only walk really early in the morning. Have fan on. Windows and doors open up and downstairs to get a draft. Close the blinds to stop sun getting in at the hottest part of day. Cold water in hot water bottle put in freezer. And generally being pathetic! Definitely feeling my age!! Oh and also stripping off(not a pretty sight!!) yup the rain will be a welcome relief!
