Post Bypass Cholesterol check

I have been on 20mg of statins since about a month before my CABG in March. The cardiac rehab nurse suggested that I should be on a higher dose, such as 80mg. She wanted to be sure and I had a fasting blood test a week ago. My cholestorol is now down from 6.7 to 3.4 and at an acceptable level. I am thrilled at this and also that I don't have to increase the dose! Hope this helps others out there.
