I have been waiting 28 weeks for open heart surgery to repair my hole. How much longer !!!!!

can i ask a bit more about your hole and treatment options available? im awaiting to see a consultant as to how they going to fix my hole and septal aneurism and im petrified of what they might say. i have had a heart attack due to said hole!

They tried key hole March 2017 to cover my 14mm hole but it wasnt possible. After further lung tests etc they decided the only way to fix is open heart surgury. I went on list november 2017 but still waiting 8 months later for QE birmingham

wow... that is a long wait! i bet u just want some normality back. fingers crossed you hear soon... maybe its worth your sending a letter?

I have been chasing waiting lists every 2 months as per there request but still no good. Also tried patient leasionto try snd sort delay but still no good
