Quick Update

Hi all, I thought I would just do a quick update on my situation. I am now living back in the UK since early March and have registered with a doctors surgery and also now have a Cardio Nurse who I might add is lovely and extremely helpful. I am currently wearing a 7 day Halter to try and find out why I occasionally get a thumping feeling in my chest. I have an appointment with a Cardiologist in July so it will be interesting to see if these palpitations happen while I'm wearing the Halter. I am told once they have built up there own view of my situation and tweaked a few drugs I can get a place in rehab, I really do need to get fit again. I have tried to do this alone but am told I'm overdoing it so am behaving myself until I have seen the specialist.

Hi Mirador good to hear you are getting sorted in the UK. Although I suspect the weather is a shock! Suggest you just keep gentle walking starting slowly then building it up. But listen to your body. Rehab will be brilliant and I still go to a class post rehab organised by our local council that follows on from Rehab. Not sure which area you live in but that may also be in your area as well. Keep us posted and hope all goes well with your appointments. Best wishes. Zena x
