Dear All

I know that there are loads of posts on travel insurance. Please bear with me.

So after reading the different posts, I am thinking of going for StaySure. An annual one to be able to travel a bit this year. The quote is 200 something pounds for my husband, does that seem too much or okay?

I do not mind paying that for peace of mind really. But was wondering if this is what you guys were quoted.

Oh and his quote was travelling worldwide since we have to go see family back home, in Mauritius (I had to mention Mauritius, isn't it! 😉). God willing, we can save enough to go!

Thanks in advance for any response.

Loads of love from

Shaivi

Sounds good to me, especially for world wide annual cover.

Yes, that sounds reasonable. What an amazing destination! Safe travels to you and your husband.

Thanks Chappychap! ☺ He really wants to meet his family, mum and dad and all after what we are going through. So fingers crossed we are able to save enough.

We paid 475 for annual with staysure so it sounds good but that was for worldwide including Caribbean/ usa which always costs more

Ah mine is worldwide too. Including usa and all.

I declared what my husband has. High cholesterol and heart bypass done. Came up to 279.

I am checking directline too. Then will get it. Or may just get it. Not sure yet.

Thanks for the reply ☺

Sounds very reasonable to me. A yearly policy will always work out cheaper. And that's a great price. I have a pacemaker. COPD And CKD disease and I was quoted over 400 for a yearly policy for myself just for Europe. Hope you enjoy your holidays and get plenty of use from your insurance Brian

Ended up paying 418 pounds. For both of us. Worldwide. I had to add one more condition for me. Luckily I remembered before buying the other one! God it is expensive!

Compared to what a claim may end up costing it's a drop in the ocean for the peace of mind it gives you when traveling.
