Hi Sam
That doesn't sound right at all, if I was you I would go to ane and be checked out that way.
Surely you shouldn't be passing out, my mom didn't when she had hers fitted and she has the defibrillator as well.
Hope you get sorted.
Becky
An alternative move is to try 111. If they decide to arrange paramedics I suspect A&E cannot use a feeble excuse to send you home. My niece's father-in-law had a pacemaker fitted and recovered quickly. And he is a pensioner.
Hi Sam, I was fainting a lot, my heart stopped for 30 seconds in Jan, SSS diaognoised had pace maker fitted in Jan. I’ve felt fine and not fainted since. Go to A and E and insist on seeing a cardiac consultant it definitely doesn’t sound right. Gabbi
Hi Sam. Get along to A&E & insist on seeing a cardiologist.
yes I did on friday but they sent me home as it was a bank holiday. I am about to lose my job as well
So sorry to read of your problems. Best call 111 or 999. If you say you think your pacemaker may have become faulty or dislodged as well as telling them about your passing out they should send paramedics. If you say you have chest pain they will always come.
Can they sack you if you have sick notes .They can find you a position more suitable I have been off for 3 months now Work asked permission to contact my doctor.
I do hope not I have been so worried and anxious, some of which I believe is connected to my hypothyroid. thank you for your support
Sam for as long as you have a sick note from your Doctor that would be impossible for them to do .You are aloud upto 28 was sspay
There are laws against unfair dismissal.
Are you still feeling faint ? Can you count your pulse on your wrist acritally ? Bpm
