Hi all

I’m a late 40s gent post stent operation last week

I was travelling home on my birthday and fell unconscious, taken to ccu, and had the stent inserted to the rca

I’m able to write this now a week later and although i missed the birthday I’m still understanding what has actually happened I’m grateful I’m here and I have next years party to hopefully see

I’m looking to link up with others and share advice

Hi Alex. It may take a while to fully comprehend what has happened. I think all of us following any heart episode feel a sense of shock and bewilderment! However with good rehab a focus on health and lifestyle I am sure you will enjoy your birthday even more next year. Having said that why narrow your celebrations to just one day of the year. When you feel up to it celebrate this one the Queen has 2! Take care. Zena
