Nausea after pacemaker implantation

My little boy (7) had a single chamber pacemaker fitted on 1.2.18.

Although his dizzy symptoms have eased these have now been replaced with him saying he feels sick and then his eyes have gone funny. Wondering if this is common so soon after the op?

Hi Jdobbing,

Sorry to hear your son is experiencing these symptoms after his pacemaker. I think it would be a good idea to take him to the GP. It might also be an idea to ring the pacemaker clinic to see if he was given any medication that might be causing him to feel this way,but as it was 3 weeks ago, would have thought I think he would have got them out of his system by now. I really hope he feels better soon.

Take care,

Philippa

I say talk to the cardiologist ASAP. I have a new pacer! I would be concerned!
