Breathless and tired after Heart Attack

Hi, I had my heart attack 6 weeks ago now. Had an angiogram but didn’t need a stent. Still not feeling how I did before my Heart Attack, occasionally feel breathless, dizzy and very tired all the time. Also feel breathless and tired after eating, could be something light like soup or something a little heavier but always struggle to breath after and feel tired, has anyone else had this?

Hi there,

I'm sorry to hear about your symptoms.

I would recommend chatting these through with your GP and getting to the bottom of what's causing them - they could be related to the reason you had the heart attack or perhaps the medication you're taking?

Wishing you all the best.

Do call our Helpline if you'd like to chat things through with one of our nurses.

Julie

Thanks you Julie. I have my cardiologist appointment this week I’ll ask them to see what they say and also make an appointment with my GP.

Many thanks for you’re response

J
