Just to let you all know I went to my appointment on my own and I survived the ordeal unscathed 😂😂 thank you all for your support and kind words. It was scary and my heart was pounding but I did it!!! The appointment was great as it was an assessment for a rehab class for patients who have been in intensive care, which I will be starting on the 19th. I have another appointment next week for a cardiac rehab assessment, I won’t be asking anyone to come with me, I’m still apprehensive but I’ve done it once so I know I can do it again 👍 Thank you again to all that replied it’s good to know others have been through it and it’s not just me. I’m so glad I found this site xx😊😊

Well done! I had to attend a number of appointments myself as both my girlfriend and best friend had problems with their elderly mothers - one is now in a care home and I think the other is not far behind. The only one that I had any issues with was the CT scan where I ended up feeling quite wobbly from the dye. GTN spray and other drugs. Fortunately a kindly soul brought me coffee and biscuits (shortcake) whilst I recovered.
