Starting the next stage

Had my first rehab appointment today and have to say it was really good. Went through my tablets and how I have been doing since being sent home and what happens next. On the plus side it’s only a small part of my heart that I have a problem with on the negative side they lost my last lot of blood which was meant to be sent off for testing so have to have that taken again to get the results before seeing cardiologist on 21st.

So they don’t know what triggered the problem but I just have to get on with it and keep things monitored. Apparently next visit I get to exercise to see how much I can safely do and then I get to join the exercise classes 🙂

Good luck and enjoy

Hi sgandypants

I started rehab Monday and thought the exercise would be easy. I didn't realise how out of shape I've become since my heart attack. So when you start pace yourself, and take it easy the next day x good luck xx

Well done I really enjoy the exercise classes, its great to find out what you can still do especially with a defibrillator nearby (joke) and then a good chat with others in similar situations over a cup of tea.

This all sounds really good...except for the missing bloods. Hope you enjoy the exercise part :)
