I have just had 3 applications rejected after completing applications including details of my By-Pass surgery in Aug 2015. I have never had any problems since op and recently had another clear 'bill of health' from doctor. Has anybody else had similars problems and did they manaage to get life insurance. Dave
Life Insurance: I have just had... - British Heart Fou...
Life Insurance
Been the same, rejected. There are companies out there that will cover you but at an exorbitant cost
This is an issue for anyone with a 'chronic' condition. My wife has Lupus has has exactly the same issues. I guess you could go for an 'Over 50's' policy (assuming you are old enough) that guarantee to accept you (just ask Parkie!), but these are not particularly good value for money and tend to cost a lot for at best modest returns. The BHF gives the following companies which are meant to be 'heart friendly'
Life Cover for All Web: lifecoverforall.co.uk Tel: 0330 119 0103
Heart Insurance Services Web: heartinsuranceservices.co.uk Tel: 01424 215 315
Moneysworth Web: moneysworth.co.uk Tel: 0845 430 5200
Good luck. Let us know if you have any joy

I tried all of the companies that have been posted on the BHF and I have a replacement aortic heart valve. I have also been signed off by my consultant.
Every single one declined me.
I am a 29 year old male
my BMI is perfect. I play football, go to the gym and I do not smoke or drink.....
I just don't understand why they just cant exclude the heart (I understand this is a major organ lol! but I could also die from other things too!)
