Good Morning,

This photo is mainly for Wendy to cheer her up but might also cheer other heart chums who may be feeling down, anxious or sore.

Boris is my 2 year old Hungarian wirehaired Vizsla, enjoying an autumnal walk in the Chilterns.

Hope he raises a smile or two 😊

Hi Char,

Glad he made you smile, the weather was certainly better earlier in the week than today. Wet dog walking gear drying out in the kitchen after this morning’s venture out. Not to mention a very soggy Boris.

Take care, Dory x💕

Boris! ♥ ♥ ♥ He is gorgeous! My daughter and I really want a dog, but my husband and my two cats disagree. I know most of local dogs by name, I am a sad dog stalker 😂

What a shame you are outvoted, perhaps you could create a life size doggy friend?

Lola look like a wonderful substitution and at least you don’t have to walk her in all weathers ☔️☃️❄️🌦

Take care of yourself,

Dory xxx❤️💕❣️

What a beautiful looking boy. I used to have a collie/Labrador cross before I became a mad cat lady. Over the years we've also had rats and cockatiels.

What a menagerie Wendy, we have had our fair share too, rabbits that couldn’t be rehomed by the RSPCA found their way to us, we kept sheep in the churchyard for 30 years as organic lawnmowers, other pets when the family were younger included hamsters, goldfish and a giant African snail - don’t ask! We had a couple of cats too but now that we travel a lot we just have Boris who comes with us.

Enjoy cuddling up with your furry friends, st least they don’t answer back!

We couldn't have pets when I was growing up as my dad was in the RAF and so kept getting moved around. I think Nigel and I have made up for it ever since.

Who says cats don't answer back! Suzy is a right nag if her food isn't dished up at the right time and I'm not allowed late nights or lie ins, so not sure what she's going to be like after my op!!!!

He’s gorgeous I hope he was ok with the fireworks this weekend we had five different lots going off almost one after the other last night our puppy was petrified he sat on the stairs in the dark that helped a bit I just had to cuddle him and reassure him he was ok I’ll try and upload a pic of him. My sister in law calls him my hairy baby 😂 after a tough year he’s just a tonic we all love him to bits he has a fantastic nature, our wee Jock

I’m so pleased you have got a four legged friend, they bring such comfort and joy. The benefit of owning a pet is overwhelming; more so when you are poorly.

Fireworks and pets certainly don’t mix, I do hope your puppy has got over last night’s.

Boris picks up a toy and goes towards the window with a toy muffled bark, much like when someone arrives, then he chills out on the settee watching the bright lights. The only caution he shows is not to go outside until they are over.

My word I bet he takes some walking, we have a king Charles, a little cutie but I do wear her out, I think three miles is her limit but she had done six or seven then slept the rest of the day

You can’t wear Boris out, he’s got Duracell batteries! I’m looking forward to being able to do long hikes with him again, a couple of miles is my limit at the moment. Boris gets his long walks with my hubby. x🐕
