I had severe psoriasis which was almost gone thanks to adalimumab.
I saw my dermatology team back in April for my 6 monthly check where my psoriasis was flairing up. so I had an adalimumab blood test to see if it was meant to work.
I got the results back a couple weeks ago where I was told the adalimumab should be working.
I have an appointment on Thursday where I am going to discus next steps, however they are cautious about changing it so soon as I'm only young
so I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what would the next steps be
or
or what would be the next medication/option after adalimumab be
thanks in advance,
Katie

If your Psoriasis is almost gone why change? Its been my experience that these biologics will not 100% take away every single psoriasis I have one spot on the back of one ankle that has stuck around and Im ok with it actually its a reminder that these biologics are not a cure and at anytime I could get my psoriasis back.
Im on adalimumab as well. It been a 90% improvement for me. Im only guessing but maybe they might look at adding Methotrexate. I have been on many biologics and also on trials. Some biologics are better than others, even if its the same drug but a different brand. The best one was Tofacitinib as part of a trial. Totally cleared after two weeks.
