15Years......

After 15 and countless Rheumatologist I have been diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis. I now being screened to go on a Biological. Let’s hope I finally get some relief.

Oh, I haven’t used that one “yet” Im currently on Cosentyx does wonders for my skin and so so for my PSA which has been raging for the past 4 years.

One piece of advice I can give you about biologics that most Rheumy don’t know or don’t care is if you abruptly stop the biologic it can give you a flare worse then you were before you started I learnt this (first hand).

I have suffered PsA now for thirty odd years and Biologics are a problem for me to take, they effect my immune system and I had to come of them.

The more modern also more expensive are -TNF I have never tried them although they say less problems associated with them
