I’ve been on Stelar for many many years. My Dermatologist wants me to try the new drug called Skyrizi. Had anyone heard of or is currently taking this injection?

Hi

Why are they taking you off Stelara? Skyrizi has just been approved by the FDA and two injections initially then one every 12 weeks. It has a similar effect to Stelara

Doctor said Stellar is old school and Skyrizi has a lot less side effects then Stellar?

None. It worked really well. Dr told me this was has less long term side effects. Sounded good at the time.

I do wonder about this. Sometimes I think you’re all guinea pigs with these new biologics . Don’t get me wrong Stelara completely cleared my husbands skin.

Hi, were you on Stelara too and have side effects? I’m curious because my husband has had none from Stelara.
