Hi, has anyone found that quiting smoking has improved psoriasis? I'm a young female with psoriasis that is on my arms legs and hand. I know I need to quit smoking I was hoping that it would help with the psoriasis and I was hoping to hear a success story 😀

I've seen this question on various forums with replies saying that stopping smoking helped and also that it did not seem to make any difference. However most information from medical sources does suggest that smoking is likely to make psoriasis worse.

However I think it is also a risk factor for psoriatic arthritis .... so that alone might help you with the motivation to stop .... Good luck!

Yes stoping smoking is a good thing to do it will help a lot with your over all health. I have COPD and now have psoriasis and PsA and have stopped. If you need support HU have Quit site. Search Quit in the search bar at the top of the page I am a member and they are really helpful take care
