I’m new here. I’ve struggled with diets but I’ve currently been eating no sugar and no processed carbs besides oatmeal. I’m thinking about reintroducing some gluten free carbs. We’ll see.
My goal is to loose weight and not to obsess about it.
Starting next week I’m going to incorporate more exercise into my routine as well such as more walking and yoga.
Please feel free to share your success stories or inspiration you may have.
I want to let you know, that I absolutely LOVE Dance Fitness With Jessica on YouTube. Sometimes, It does take a while to learn her routines to each song, but others you can catch on very easily (: her energy is amazing and motivating. And so fun! I don’t know how old you are, but if you like to dance and shake your booty a lil bit, you will love these workouts.
Limiting sugar and processed carbs is a great start! You should try quinoa, millet, and brown rice. These are all great options of whole grains. The key is to eat lots of fiber through whole grains and vegetables/fruits and also protein at each meal. Fiber and lean protein help you feel fuller longer. Is there any particular reason you've decided to go "gluten-free"? Do you have a gluten intolerance?
Walking and yoga is a good way to start your fitness journey. There are so many free online workouts as well! I personally like FitOn.
