This morning i was thinking about your post on how the weather effects our mood. For most of this week i have had little real sleep. I have been enjoying eating out thanks to our chancellor but after the last two evenings gosh . I do hope my feelings were the weather and not me dining out.

For lunch today i added an nice peppered steak slice and gosh my tum has felt full for the last two hours and i have needed a jolly good nap. Even now i feel a bit groggy.

But i am thinking that eating can effect us in the same way as weather (28C now) . What do you think?

Hi Greyone

Interesting reply, thank you!

I always feel sleepy after a big meal too, it's just one of those things, We don't do very often do we? Maybe you can manage a short walk when it cools down a bit.

You deserve the treat! Thankfully the meal deal won't last very long before its back to normal.

I'd hoped to go last Tuesday but had to cancel, and I felt very cheated 😒

Today I am reminded that we cannot change other people, or things around us (weather, circumstances etc) but we can ALWAYS change our own reactions and attitudes to them. We spend way too much time telling ourself things like I can't deal with this, I'm too hot, can't sleep, can't do what I want do, can't, can't, can't! We CAN do way, way more than we think, always. The brain is a powerful tool. Change your mindset and it can change your world 👍🏻

Other people leave me drained and my sensitive nature has taken a big hit over the last week. No wonder I rather be alone away from people.

I empathise, I really do.

They mean well I'm sure but I often feel the same way and it takes time to recover after being with others I find x

Take good care of yourself.
