Problems with the Liver?

I have a very high GGT blood result.My Consultant thinks this maybe an autoimmunie problem with my Liver,has anyone had experience in this area?

It might be due to your medication - mine definitely went up with Cyclosporin and has started to go up slightly on MTX. I'm constantly being asked how much I drink. Having a good Scots' surname - Graham I don't mind the wee dram, but have been practically abstaining due to the cocktail of medications I'm on.

I was also asked about my drinking ha ha I'm Scottish.I think your right they believe it could be the cholesterol drug I'm taking at present, have been asked to stop it to see if the liver stabilises

Good idea. I refused to take the cholesterol drug because of the side effects. Painful legs, itchy skin etc. I figure out I have enough to contend with. I do enjoy the odd indulgence with food however try to cut out saturated fats etc.
