I’m currently going through the diagnosis process.
I have recently had terrible ear pain- possibly an infection and perforated ear drum. But only in the last 6 months had ear issues. Could this be connected or just a random illness ontop?
thanks for any advice.

I’m not aware of a direct link between ear problems and Behçets, but I have had ‘ulcerated’ ear drums. Incredibly painful and healed up with steroid ear drops.
There is a condition that has an acronym called Magic (nothing magic about it) which is a crossover of Relapsing Polychondritis and Behcets where you get some of the chondritis and the ulcers of Behcets. You might want to research it.
I have MAGIC that was mentioned. The key for Relapsing Polychondritis is a very red and inflamed pinna of the ear. Not red down to the lobe, but in a flare it's the upper parts of the cartilage. The ear drum seems like a one off potentially but certainly get this all checked out. I am sorry for your suffering. I know all to well how the autoimmune spiral goes. I have four autoimmune diseases with colitis being the only "normal" one.
