Do you find that when you have several mouth ulcers in your mouth you get more fatigued/brain fog?
Not sure if the ulcers are causing the fatigue, I feel they could - or it could be an overall flare up where ulcers + fatigue just so happen to be happening at the same time

I am on medication that seems to have stopped my mouth ulcers ( haven't had one now in about 2 or 3 years!!) but the fatigue just never seems to go away. My rheumatologist answer to my complaint is "let's draw blood" and nothing changes. Fatigue, Random aches and brain fog are pretty constant and still get the "flu " flush about weekly or bi weekly.
I too take Otzela, it is now approved in the UK via approval of hospital board. Gives me headaches unfortunately. Recently took a break from it and resulted in some nasty ulcers so it does work. Does not help with fatigue or other Behcets issues.
So far as fatigue is concerned I live with this everyday, some days are much worse than others. Simple little tasks such as going to an appointment or small amount of shopping and that's me for the rest of the day. Other days I wake up like it, no matter if I do nothing, try to sleep more, it's just there. Makes me feel like I am loosing too much time.
The fatigue has been going on a long time. Like ccat13 said, my rheumatologist just takes bloods and never provides an answer...
I am finding that I am wanting to push through this feeling since I have days where I simply cannot be bothered. I recently started going out for a walk when feeling fatigued, getting out in the fresh air for an hour or more has been helpful, it helps clear the brain fog / pressure too. Ultimately it makes me feel like I have done something other than think about the fatigue, and not losing another day.
I think it's all connected. They used to be my main symptoms and used to come together, Ulcers and fatigue. I found diet and lifestyle changes to be really beneficial. Low sugar, high veg mainly.
I don't get mouth ulcers, I get genital ulcers and they are very painful, but I find that fatigue is one of my greatest symptoms when I have a flare-up. It's a kind of fatigue that's hard to explain to someone whose never had it. It sweeps over me and I am forced to lay down. I do find fatigue to be frustrating as it really seems to be so intense at times.
The way I describe it when you are right in the middle of flu that horrible feeling
it's there all the time, You name a supplement i have tried it.
I Saw Dr Patel at Southmead just over a week ago its not covid picked up some virus.
woke up today and my mouth is plastered in ulcers, the right eye has kicked off
I had a lovely email chat with Dr andrew de burgh thomas was really sorry to hear he recently lost his mother but he sent me some links on relaxation and meditation
rituximab seems to be my next treatment. I always found those hydro cortisone tablets a bit pointless they say place on the affected areas but when you've got 20-30 ulcers up that's impossible. So I just use them like a sweet then one puff of the inhaler in my mouth. They used to make a stunning diabetic ice cream locally but they recently went bust, brilliant having a tea spoon through the day to cool things down.
that brain fog is I think im on about my 15th debit card, 2 weeks ago I couldn't even remember the year, Leaving the gas on is the worst. 🫣
