Hello, I have an appointment today to talk about my vaginal lesions. Any advise or medication recommendations?

My doctor (in Uk) prescribed Synalar which has a bit of steroid in and really helps. Be able to describe where they are and how often you get them and how long they usually last as well as how they impact you (peeing, walking, relationships, etc). Think about if you can spot any links between ulcers and possible triggers for you eg between periods or times of activity or Candida (thrush) infection? Good luck! And get a referral to the Behçet’s centre of Excellence in Uk if you have the different ulcers and not yet under their care. It is free for GP to refer

Thank you so much for the response. 💛 it’s the worst pain I have had so far. Have you ever taken betamethasone for them

No. Only used little pink betamethasone tablets dissolved in water for a mouth wash. But the other option was spraying a brown steroid inhaler for asthma directly on to the ulcers to help.

I use the inhaler. Works brilliantly. Now struggling with staying pubic hair free when ulcers creep up!

I use betamethazone topical ointment and it makes recovering light years faster. I also have used elidel on some of my other more sensitive areas like my face and it helps a lot as well. I have many of the same kind of questions you have though for instance is there a trigger for these things other than my period But it does seem to be connected directly to my cycle it makes me feel like this is hormonally induced.it's almost like my skin becomes thicker and my hair's just can't seem to manage to get out of it and so they don't grow as normal hairs they grow under the skin as clear or almost plastic looking fibers. I also have been taking doxycycline everyday to help minimize secondary infections and such. I'm also on spironolactone colchicine and tarazadone. which all seem to be helping my flare-ups become fewer and farther between
